Enhanced Privacy with 121 CTCSS/DCS Codes: Enjoy secure conversations with up to 3,144 channel options using the included privacy codes. These codes effectively block other conversations, ensuring your communication remains private.
Flexible Power Options for Continuous Use: This radio offers five types of power sources for convenience and continuous operation. Power it with 4 standard "AA" batteries, a 6.0V rechargeable NiMH battery pack, AC adapter, DC adapter, or use the dynamo crank for emergency charging.
NOAA Weather Scan + Alert: NOAA Weather Scan will automatically scan through 10 available weather (WX) band channels and locks onto the strongest weather channel to alert you of severe weather updates. NOAA Weather Alert will sound an alarm indicating that there is a risk of severe weather in your area. NOAA Weather Radio will also be used to broadcast AMBER alerts for missing children.
