[ Polarity Testing & Continuity Testing ]: The power circuit probe tester can be used to test uncertain contact polarity in vehicles. When the it touches the positive pole, the indicator light will turn on red, and when it touches the negative pole, it will turn on green. In addition to polarity testing, the power short circuit finder can also perform continuity testing, it is mainly to test whether the circuit has continuity and whether it is short-circuited.
[ Quickly Tracking and Locating ]: The automotive circuit tester is mainly used to test the on-off condition of the automobile electrical system under the 6-24V DC voltage.In most cases, a short circuit or momentary overload of a component will cause a fuse or circuit breaker to blow. When the fuse is blown due to a short circuit, using this circuit tester can help you quickly and accurately find the faulty wire and its fault point.
[ LED Indicator& Buzzer Dual Warning ]: In order to let you understand more intuitively and clearly understand the grounding of the components, the power circuit probe tester comes with an LED indicator and a buzzer, the test light can perform a quick self-test to ensure your tool is in good condition. When the current exceeds 7A, the circuit tester automotive will disconnect the current automatically and give you a buzzer prompt, reminding you whether the tested component is faulty.
[ How to Use ]: Clip the red clip to the positive electrode of the car battery and the black clip to the negative electrode of the car battery, press button to “Positive”side with LED lighting RED, connect the tip to positive terminal of tested component to active the component. If LED turns to GREEN with buzzer, stop testing and check the component if defective or not, or rating current of component is higher than that of this tester.
[ Packing Include ]: 1 X Power Scan, 1 x Probe Tip, 1 x Battery Hookup Clips, 1 x User Manual, 2 x clips. The cable length of the circuit tester is about 4m(13ft) which allows you access and test any electrical system easily. Note: This circuit tester can not be used for 110/220V systems, it is only used for DC 6-24V systems. Do not use on AC voltage.
[ NOTE ]: Before performing the test, please make sure that your tester is properly connected. Connect the red clip to the positive terminal of the car battery. Then connect the black clip to the negative terminal of the car battery. During the continuity test, the auxiliary ground wire needs to be connected to one side of the wire under test. When testing components in/out of the vehicle's electrical system, connect the auxiliary ground wire to the negative pole of the component under test.
